AutoDeblur
is AutoQuant’s deconvolution software, which automatically
removes haze, blur, noise, and other problems from your 2D and 3D
micrographs. AutoDeblur runs on Pentium PC platforms
and works with widefield fluorescent, transmitted light brightfield and
most all confocal microscopes. AutoDeblur has a variety of fast and
robust deconvolution algorithms, basic visualization tools, color/multichannel
capabilities, and includes the blind deconvolution which eliminates
esoteric point-spread measurements.
What
is Blind Deconvolution?
Deconvolution
is a computer method that removes out-of-focus haze from your
microscopic images. Iterative blind deconvolution technology allows you
to deconvolve without going through the tedious, esoteric and erroneous
procedure of measuring the point-spread (i.e. blur) profile of your
microscope. Our software does that for you automatically! This method is
also inherently adaptive, so the results are actually better than those
obtained with other deconvolution methods.
In
addition to being easier to use, blind deconvolution technology is
better than other deconvolution methods because it adapts to changes in
the point-spread due to variations in the refractive index, and the
microscope optics.
Blind
deconvolution can be used to better visualize thick samples (3-D data),
effectively improving the sensitivity and axial resolution of your
microscope, allowing you to better detect fine structures, and perform
more accurate morphometry.
AutoDeblur
is the most advanced 2-D and 3-D blind deconvolution product
currently available. It incorporates a variety of algorithms ranging
from the simplest and quickest to the most sophisticated. All these
choices are supported by a friendly and easy-to-use graphical interface.
In addition to its superb results, it is very economical.
AutoDeblur
is based on more than a decade of published, scholarly research. It is
also the fastest growing - benefiting from an intensive, world-class
R&D program that is simply unmatched.
